On December 2, 2025, at the invitation of PARP – the organizer of the 26th edition of the Polish Product of the Future competition – the co-creator of the Nieamputuj.pl application, Dr. Piotr Liszkowski, had the pleasure and honor of participating in the competition’s final gala. The winners were announced, rewarding the best Polish innovations.
In the “Entrepreneur’s Product of the Future” category, the main prize was awarded to the creators of the “Bionic Pancreas – cATMP®” – Polbionica S.A.
In the category “Joint Product of the Future of Higher Education and Science Institutions and Entrepreneurs,” the main prize went to the creators of the “Bioactive Spongy Bone Substitute” – BoneReg Sp. z o.o. and the Warsaw University of Technology.
In the category “Product of the Future of Higher Education and Science Institutions,” the main prize went to the product “GRACE – Propulsion Technology for a New Space Age” – developed by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation.
One of the special awards – for a product in the information and communication technology (ICT) sector – went to a product developed in cooperation between a scientific institution and a business – the Medical University of Wrocław and Animativ Sp. z o.o. – “Kid AID – A multimodal system for non-invasive assessment of a child’s general condition to support the medical triage process.”
As can be seen, innovative medical projects, including those in the field of diabetology (“Bionic Pancreas”) and the skeletal system (Bioactive Spongy Bone Substitute), which, like the Nieamputuj.pl application, may in the future support the treatment of people with diabetes and diabetic foot syndrome, are gaining in importance, winning awards and giving hope for a better future for patients.
