The Nieamputuj.pl mobile application supports people with Diabetic Foot Syndrome in the daily monitoring of changes occurring in the foot. It provides practical knowledge to the patient and his family needed to initiate and accelerate the wound healing process.
Nieamputuj.pl is a mobile application that allows you to take a photo of a diabetic patient’s foot with your smartphone. It allows, using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, to obtain instant information on the changes occurring on the feet. Finally, it also gives preventive information, the use of which can reduce the risk of new wounds on the feet.
The images taken, with answers to additional questions, can be saved in History for later consultation of lesions with a doctor or can be sent to artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to obtain information about changes on the feet.
Once the images are sent to the artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm, a response will be presented informing the patient of the changes he or she is most likely to face and the actions most often taken in such situations.
The application also provides essential preventive knowledge on DFS for people with diabetes who are worried about developing Diabetic Foot Syndrome, as well as knowledge for patients who have already developed the condition.
A wound on the foot can put it at risk. The Diabetic Foot Syndrome Support Application was created by diabetes specialists with many years of experience in treating this condition. Treatment of the diabetic foot is their daily practice. The work on the application was supervised by specialists in application programming, building information systems, developing an artificial intelligence algorithm. There is no other such application.
Diabetic foot can lead to amputation of the lower limb. If you are diabetic and have a lesion on your foot that concerns you, you can already get practical information about it at home. The Nieamputuj.pl application analyzes 7 different features on the foot and you will receive feedback after uploading photos and answering supportive questions in no more than a few dozen seconds.
In the Nieamputuj.pl application you have access to a knowledge base and articles on the prevention of Diabetic Foot Syndrome, as well as knowledge and articles in the area of diagnosis and treatment of Diabetic Foot Syndrome. The application also contains information that is important and useful for people with Diabetes.
Several months of hard work by a team consisting of specialists in diabetic foot treatment, an IT team, application developers and artificial intelligence experts made it possible to obtain proprietary AI algorithms that analyze changes occurring on the feet of people with diabetes, and to create an application that allows the use of the learned algorithms and the presentation of their results. The end result was an application that combines the results of the AI algorithms with information on practical management presenting them to the user. No other application has such algorithms and functionality.
Operation with the application does not require the user to provide personal information. Even when performing AI analysis.
Our application allows you to enter an infinite number of entries, so you can keep a very detailed history of changes. Showing the history, exporting all or part of it to a PDF file, uploading or sharing it, or giving it to your doctor can streamline the follow-up process.
All data created by the user is stored in the memory of the phone on which the application is installed. This data is available offline – that is, no Internet connection is needed to view it.

The Polish Association of Diabetics (PSD) is an organization established in 1981 on the initiative of diabetic patients, currently counting some 330 branches and circles across the country, with a total of nearly 55,000 patients.
The association is engaged in direct work with diabetics and their families in providing them with wide-ranging assistance (primarily diabetes education, but also integration and group support), as well as promoting diabetes awareness and prevention in society and representing diabetics before the authorities and striving for the best possible conditions and accessibility to treatment.
