Mobile application to educate and support Diabetic Foot Syndrome patients

The Nieamputuj.pl mobile application supports people with Diabetic Foot Syndrome in the daily monitoring of changes occurring in the foot. It provides practical knowledge to the patient and his family needed to initiate and accelerate the wound healing process.

Explore the innovative capabilities of the nieamputuj.pl application

Nieamputuj.pl is a mobile application that allows you to take a photo of a diabetic patient’s foot with your smartphone. It allows, using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, to obtain instant information on the changes occurring on the feet. Finally, it also gives preventive information, the use of which can reduce the risk of new wounds on the feet.

Useful research history

The images taken, with answers to additional questions, can be saved in History for later consultation of lesions with a doctor or can be sent to artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to obtain information about changes on the feet.

Clear and simple answers

Once the images are sent to the artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm, a response will be presented informing the patient of the changes he or she is most likely to face and the actions most often taken in such situations.

Preventive knowledge

The application also provides essential preventive knowledge on DFS for people with diabetes who are worried about developing Diabetic Foot Syndrome, as well as knowledge for patients who have already developed the condition.

Why you should use the application

A wound on the foot can put it at risk. The Diabetic Foot Syndrome Support Application was created by diabetes specialists with many years of experience in treating this condition. Treatment of the diabetic foot is their daily practice. The work on the application was supervised by specialists in application programming, building information systems, developing an artificial intelligence algorithm. There is no other such application.

Instant information on the change on the foot

Diabetic foot can lead to amputation of the lower limb. If you are diabetic and have a lesion on your foot that concerns you, you can already get practical information about it at home. The Nieamputuj.pl application analyzes 7 different features on the foot and you will receive feedback after uploading photos and answering supportive questions in no more than a few dozen seconds.

Practical information in one place

In the Nieamputuj.pl application you have access to a knowledge base and articles on the prevention of Diabetic Foot Syndrome, as well as knowledge and articles in the area of diagnosis and treatment of Diabetic Foot Syndrome. The application also contains information that is important and useful for people with Diabetes.

Innovative application and proprietary AI evaluation algorithm

Several months of hard work by a team consisting of specialists in diabetic foot treatment, an IT team, application developers and artificial intelligence experts made it possible to obtain proprietary AI algorithms that analyze changes occurring on the feet of people with diabetes, and to create an application that allows the use of the learned algorithms and the presentation of their results. The end result was an application that combines the results of the AI algorithms with information on practical management presenting them to the user. No other application has such algorithms and functionality.

You do not provide any personal data

Operation with the application does not require the user to provide personal information. Even when performing AI analysis.

History of changes on the foot in one place

Our application allows you to enter an infinite number of entries, so you can keep a very detailed history of changes. Showing the history, exporting all or part of it to a PDF file, uploading or sharing it, or giving it to your doctor can streamline the follow-up process.

All the data on your phone

All data created by the user is stored in the memory of the phone on which the application is installed. This data is available offline – that is, no Internet connection is needed to view it.

Access the application without logging in

The application and its functionality can be accessed without logging in. The application does not require the creation of an account. The user, even after purchasing the paid version, is anonymous to the systems performing the analysis.

The Nieamputuj.pl application is available for download!

Android users can download it from the Google Play store, iOS users can download it from the App Store.

Key functionalities of the application

Rapid analysis of changes on the foot supported by artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms

Take 3 photos of the foot, answer 6 questions, and receive almost immediately a precise analysis of the changes present on the foot and information on possible next steps.

Practical knowledge base containing information about diabetes, Diabetic Foot Syndrome (DFS)

and diagnostic and therapeutic management of DFS. All this in one place, accessible from the mobile app.

Full story of changes supported by photos

You can even take photos every day. Fill out a survey, add comments. Share the full story with photos and AI responses or generate to a PDF and send to the person supporting you or treating your wound.

How does it work?

It is estimated that the entire process of walking a user through the analysis process does not exceed 60 seconds. The application is very simple in its operation. It was created with the idea that any cell phone user can use it.

1

Take 3 photos

Each from a different perspective

2

Complete the survey and add a comment

Answer 6 supporting questions. Add information that may be useful, for example, to a doctor reviewing your medical history

3

Send for AI analysis

Submit photos and survey responses for analysis by artificial intelligence algorithms

4

Read the answer

You will receive information about the lesion on the foot and the procedure that is usually carried out in such situations

5

Add entry to history

Add the response you receive, along with photos, survey responses and comments to the story

6
